Wheat flour laddoos


Ingredients : 

  1. Wheat flour               4 cups
  2. Semolina / Rava       2 tbsp
  3. Sugar                            4 cups
  4. Ghee                             1 cup
  5. Almonds                       chopped
  6. Cashew nut                   chopped
  7. Raisins
  8. Milk                               1 cup
  9. Water                             as needed
  10. Cardamom powder    1 tsp


  1. In a bowl mix together flour and semolina . Add 1 cup ghee and milk , mix well. Add  water as required and knead into a stiff dough. Divide dough into round balls.
  2. Heat oil / ghee in a wok and deep fry these balls on a medium-low flame till golden brown. It may take time because they have to be cooked  from inside too. So have patience.
  3. Remove and let them cool down completely.
  4. Now grind them coarsely and remove into a bowl.
  5. Add ghee, almonds, cashew nuts, raisins, sugar powder, cardamom powder and mix well. 
  6. Make equal sized laddoos out of the mixture.
  7. Sprinkle powdered sugar and garnish with almonds. 
  8. You can store them in air tight containers.
